Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Venegas (ranked 787 p4p, 554 weight class) and Heung Min Choi (ranked 56 p4p, 39 weight class). Choi has chosen Black Eyed Bruiser as his entrance music. Heung Min Choi will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 25 - 0, fighting out of London, Frankie Venegas !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Heung Min Choi!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venegas looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Choi is fending him off so far but Venegas persists. Nope, Choi circles away and we're back to standing.

and Choi counters with a nice uppercut.
Venegas on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Venegas shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Choi counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frankie Venegas . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Choi lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Venegas shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Choi defends it nicely.

Venegas is rocked!
Choi lands a nice shot to the body.
Venegas is breathing heavily.
Venegas goes for a double leg but Choi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Choi continues to drive forward.
Choi breaks the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Venegas walks straight into a right hand from Choi - that's dropped him! Choi jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Venegas from any more punishment! Venegas complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Heung Min Choi!
