Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Jankovic (ranked 231 p4p, 257 weight class) and Doric Dienekes (ranked 31 p4p, 35 weight class). Ivan Jankovic has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ivan Jankovic!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Doric Dienekes!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Jankovic throws a half hearted mid kick.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
