Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Gracie (ranked 1515 p4p, 1811 weight class) and Zekariays Solomon (ranked 51 p4p, 224 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anderson Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Zekariays Solomon!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie lands a right hook to the body.
Solomon has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Solomon moves out of range as Gracie throws a body kick.
Solomon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gracie.
Solomon throws a body shot but no joy.
Solomon looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Solomon makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Solomon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gracie works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Gracie's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Gracie misses with an uppercut. Solomon saw that one coming.
Gracie throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Zekariays Solomon has been cut.
Gracie drops Solomon with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Solomon looks back up at him and smiles so Gracie waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Gracie lands a left and a right that send Solomon crashing to the mat, dazed. Gracie thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Anderson Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie slips a jab and a cross from Solomon.

Gracie scores with a jab. Solomon acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Solomon lands a body shot.
Solomon seems to have recovered his senses.
Solomon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Solomon slips a straight right by Gracie.

Gracie connects with a good right hand that stumbles Solomon. Solomon circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Solomon throws an overhand right that lands on Gracie's shoulder, as Gracie tries to avoid the shot.
The fighters circling - Gracie throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A head kick misses from Solomon.

Solomon swings away with a leg kick that misses.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Gracie thuds a left hand into Solomon's body.
Gracie is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Solomon can do to turn this around?
Solomon goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Gracie cracks Solomon with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Solomon looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Gracie finish him?
Gracie has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Solomon leaves his chin hanging out and Gracie seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Solomon crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Anderson Gracie!
