Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damon Maluga (ranked 2118 p4p, 2095 weight class) and Jarkko Ahola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ahola has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Damon Maluga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jarkko Ahola!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maluga pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Damon Maluga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maluga moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ahola looks winded!
Maluga tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ahola wants to counter with a clinch but Maluga pushes him away.
Maluga throws a big shot that misses.
Ahola takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Jarkko Ahola has been cut.
Maluga fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ahola manages to avoid it.
Maluga has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Slaughterhouse in the buildup to the fight.
Maluga drops Ahola with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ahola looks back up at him and smiles so Maluga waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Ahola is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ahola is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Maluga doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Ahola crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Ahola's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Damon Maluga!
