Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Muenster Romano (ranked 1289 p4p, 1466 weight class) and Dag Schotel (ranked 173 p4p, 201 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dag Schotel!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schotel scores with a hook to the body. Romano takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Schotel drops back looking for a leg! Romano is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Romano manages to kick Schotel off! Schotel jumps back into Romano's guard.
Schotel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

I've got Schotel winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
