Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brock Dredd (ranked 90 p4p, 306 weight class) and Francesco Monroe (ranked 13 p4p, 42 weight class). Dredd comes to the cage accompanied by Wake up the Town. Francesco Monroe struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Francesco Monroe!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe throws a leg kick that is checked
and Dredd connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Francesco Monroe has been cut.
Dredd looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dredd lands a jab to the head.
Monroe is rocked!
Monroe waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dredd.
Dredd feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Monroe misses with a low kick.
It looked like Dredd was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Monroe.
Monroe backs away from a small jab... but Dredd lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Monroe crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Dredd with a spectacular finish!
