Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mason Barbosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Peter Plier!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa misses with a few strikes there.
Plier wants to counter the offense by Barbosa and move into the clinch position.
Jab by Barbosa.
Barbosa scores with a punch to the head.
Barbosa with a body punch. A glancing blow.
A swing and a miss from Barbosa.
Barbosa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Plier.
Despite the aggression on Plier's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Barbosa has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Tea Time Takedowns in the buildup to the fight.
Barbosa works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Barbosa jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Barbosa misses with a body shot.
Plier looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Barbosa throws a lazy right hand but Plier sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Plier steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Barbosa.
Barbosa swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Barbosa darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Barbosa ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Plier throws a right and a left that Barbosa avoids nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
No luck for Plier with that takedown attempt.

Plier throws a fast counter high kick but Barbosa manages to duck under it in time.
Barbosa punishes Plier's body with a nice straight punch.
Plier misses with the combination.
Barbosa cracks Plier with a right hand to the side of the head.

Barbosa lands with a straight right. Plier didn't see that one coming.
Plier takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Barbosa feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Plier sprawling to the canvas! Plier rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Barbosa finish him?!
Plier is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Plier drops his hands for a split second and Barbosa immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Plier face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Barbosa follows up with a right hand that knocks Plier into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mason Barbosa!
In his post fight interview, Mason Barbosa started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
