Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sebastion Lynar (ranked 1694 p4p, 1779 weight class) and Ay Blyad (ranked 188 p4p, 194 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sebastion Lynar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ay Blyad!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blyad misses with a body kick.
Blyad does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lynar takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Lynar walks into a straight right hand from Blyad.
Blyad misses with an uppercut.
Blyad lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Lynar wants to clinch up but Blyad keeps it at a distance.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Blyad enables Lynar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Blyad manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blyad felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
