Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cathal Doherty (ranked 220 p4p, 659 weight class) and Feaqeuin Bizihwaeile (ranked 31 p4p, 88 weight class). Doherty comes to the cage accompanied by Jeremy- Pearl Jam. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bizihwaeile loads up on a big right hand but Doherty slips the punch.
Doherty lands with a nice body punch.
Bizihwaeile defending well as Doherty loads up on a big left hand.
Bizihwaeile throws an overhand right that lands on Doherty's shoulder, as Doherty tries to avoid the shot.
Bizihwaeile jabs Doherty right on the nose. Doherty blinks but takes it well.
Bizihwaeile avoids the body shot from Doherty.
Bizihwaeile ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Doherty moves away.
Doherty lands with a right hand.
Bizihwaeile throws a hook to the side of Doherty's head but Doherty sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bizihwaeile tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Doherty was well out of range. Poor timing from Bizihwaeile.
Doherty fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bizihwaeile throws a predictable looking body shot
and Doherty counters with a straight right hand.
Doherty throws a body shot but no joy.
Bizihwaeile throws out a powerful jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Doherty misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Doherty takes one to the side of the head.
Doherty takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Doherty throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Bizihwaeile counter with a right hand.
Doherty missing with a left hand there. Bizihwaeile was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Doherty's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bizihwaeile under the eye.
Doherty looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bizihwaeile has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Doherty throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bizihwaeile counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Doherty throws a head kick that misses.
Doherty throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Bizihwaeile crashing down! Bizihwaeile tries to stagger back to his feet but Doherty just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Bizihwaeile asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
