Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 21 - 1, fighting out of London, David Choke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Raven Harris!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris misses with a leg kick

and Choke decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Harris's guard.
Harris looking to hit a scissor sweep but Choke is one step ahead there.
Harris utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Choke drops back, looking for a kneebar! Harris looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Harris looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Harris!

Choke has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Choke goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Harris rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Choke's guard! Nice work there by Harris!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Harris has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Choke is in all sorts of trouble here.

Choke is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harris takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Raven Harris has got the better of the ground game so far.
Choke trying to get back to full guard but Harris takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Raven Harris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Choke changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Harris tries to avoid it but Choke manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Harris to the ground. Harris escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Choke shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Choke is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Harris is just riding it out for now. Choke eventually gives up the hold.
Harris felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Choke is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Harris defends it well.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Choke connects with a nice short shot to Harris's temple.

Harris seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Harris manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Choke manages to get himself to full guard.

Harris got a little sloppy there for a moment and Choke has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Harris has managed to get both his arms back between Choke's legs - danger averted.

Choke has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Harris is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Choke.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to David Choke.
Well Harris has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
