Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damion Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by Trick Daddy - Let's Go ft Twista & Lil Jon. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz digs a good body shot into Black's ribs.
Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Black swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Black is looking to land body kicks.

Diaz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Black closes the distance but Diaz moves to the side
and Diaz counters with a nice uppercut.

Diaz throws a series of punches but Black avoids them all with ease.
Diaz ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Diaz misses with a looping left.
Diaz tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Black counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A jab-cross combination lands for Diaz and sends Black crashing to the mat! Diaz follows him down to the mat - Black regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Damion Black has been cut.
Diaz moves nicely into side control.

Black really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diaz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Diaz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Diaz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Oscar Diaz will probably get the nod.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaz lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Diaz's guard.
Diaz pulls Black in close to his closed guard and prevents Black from doing any damage or advancing position.
Black must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Black wanted to stand there but Diaz had control of the position.
Diaz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Black is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Diaz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Black's back instead.

Diaz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Black sprawls well. Black wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet.
