Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobojo Makoba (ranked 320 p4p, 953 weight class) and Tommy Draconis (ranked 38 p4p, 114 weight class). Makoba comes to the cage accompanied by Zilbacore 2097. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobojo Makoba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tommy Draconis! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Draconis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Draconis lands with a nice body punch. Makoba lands with a kick to the ribs.
Draconis's coach down at New York Public Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Draconis's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Draconis on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Draconis bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Makoba misses with a head kick.
Makoba throws a right and a left that both miss. Makoba lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. A head kick misses from Makoba. Makoba lands with a cross.
It looks like Tommy Draconis has been cut. Draconis closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Draconis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Makoba doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Draconis. Makoba keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's one minute gone in the round. Draconis not landing any meaningful shots this time. Draconis in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Makoba tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Draconis!
