Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sabas Mendiola (ranked 935 p4p, 1386 weight class) and Rubber Turtle (ranked 121 p4p, 188 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Sabas Mendiola has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sabas Mendiola seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Rubber Turtle!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Turtle or perhaps it was just good defense by Mendiola, which made it look bad.

Mendiola looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Turtle throws an overhand right that lands on Mendiola's shoulder, as Mendiola tries to avoid the shot.
Rubber Turtle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mendiola crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Turtle - the referee stops the clock and Mendiola gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Turtle. Mendiola manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
