Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bethania Valverde (ranked 1062 p4p, 2224 weight class) and Adrian Sterling (ranked 96 p4p, 188 weight class). Valverde comes to the cage accompanied by LLAMAME YA. Sterling is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Snake by Lil Keed. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Valverde darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Valverde swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sterling fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sterling takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Adrian Sterling has been cut.

Sterling tries to close the distance and clinch up but Valverde swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Sterling feints and as Valverde raises his hands in defense, Sterling changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Valverde scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Sterling shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Valverde pinned against the cage. Valverde gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Valverde throws a sloppy head kick and Sterling moves out of range easily.
Valverde looks to throw the jab but Sterling is out of range.
Sterling tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Valverde throws a lazy right hand but Sterling sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sterling is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Valverde drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Sterling's head, knocking him out cold! Valverde is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
