Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim connects with a leg kick.
Kim throws a body kick that misses.
Kim closes the distance and clinches.
Kim fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kim misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Route.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Route.

Route struggles to land a body shot inside as Kim controls his hands.
Kim lands a hook that snaps the head of Route backwards.
Route lands with a left to the head.
Route prevents a body shot from Kim.
Still in the clinch, Kim scores with a nice short uppercut.

Route tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Route escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Route is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Kim is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Route can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Route holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Kim tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Kim unloads with some shots from mount but Route bucks and avoids them well.
Kim scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Route is working to get back to half guard.
Kim throwing strikes here but Route is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Route really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kim breaks from Route's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Route reaches up and pulls Kim towards him, trying to control the position. Kim manages to get a guillotine from the mount though! This could be big trouble for Route! Route tries to roll over - now Kim is on the bottom but the guillotine is really deep and Route has to tap out! Great work there by Kim!
