Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taqor Narimanbeyov (ranked 2621 p4p, 2885 weight class) and Ashton Ribeiro (ranked 312 p4p, 338 weight class). Narimanbeyov comes to the cage accompanied by Heiwa Sanka. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Narimanbeyov is pressed up against the cage. Ribeiro has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Narimanbeyov down to the mat. Narimanbeyov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

That was a close round but I would say that Taqor Narimanbeyov will probably get the nod.

Ribeiro gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Ribeiro tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Narimanbeyov is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Ribeiro buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Ribeiro!! Ribeiro is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Narimanbeyov throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
