Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Koba Takanori (ranked 2384 p4p, 3738 weight class) and Bobby Knuckles (ranked 291 p4p, 406 weight class). Bobby Knuckles struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Koba Takanori!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Knuckles!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Ben Watson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takanori keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Takanori thinks about countering with a body kick.
Knuckles falls off balance throwing a combination
and Takanori counters with a straight right hand.
Takanori misses with a lunging right hand
and Knuckles counters with a nice uppercut.
Knuckles moves out of range of the strikes.
Knuckles misses with a left hand
and Takanori counters with a body kick that stops Knuckles in his tracks momentarily.
Knuckles looks to throw the jab but Takanori is out of range.
Takanori swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Takanori cracks Knuckles with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Knuckles looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Takanori finish him?
Knuckles is rocked!
It looks like Bobby Knuckles has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Knuckles lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Takanori circles away quickly and effectively.
It looked like Takanori wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Knuckles swings widly with a right hand
and Takanori counters with a huge left! Knuckles is in big trouble! He's backing up but Takanori isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Knuckles from any more damage. A dominating finish by Takanori!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Koba Takanori!
During a confident post fight interview, Koba Takanori thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
