Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyrion Slamister (ranked 1933 p4p, 1242 weight class) and Kwadwo Adunga Jr (ranked 240 p4p, 150 weight class). Adunga Jr is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Eye of the Tiger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slamister gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Adunga Jr counters with a straight right hand.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Slamister.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slamister is looking to take a break and control but Adunga Jr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Adunga Jr is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Slamister is controlling him well.
Slamister works to advance to full mount. Adunga Jr defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Adunga Jr gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Slamister darts in looking for a takedown but Adunga Jr gets double underhooks and turns Slamister into the cage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Adunga Jr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Slamister closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Adunga Jr's guard.

Slamister closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Adunga Jr to the mat! Adunga Jr manages to get full guard.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kwadwo Adunga Jr dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
