Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Schnitzer (ranked 2977 p4p, 2661 weight class) and Ivarsson Trippin (ranked 238 p4p, 222 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ivarsson Trippin!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Kevin Schnitzer has been cut.
Trippin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Schnitzer was well out of range. Poor timing from Trippin.

Schnitzer lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Trippin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Schnitzer can pounce on him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Trippin, as that shot connected.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Schnitzer! Trippin is out on his feet! Schnitzer rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Trippin is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Trippin is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

In his post fight interview, Kevin Schnitzer started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
