Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Prince McVicker (ranked 636 p4p, 1830 weight class) and Brendon Carrillo-Moreno (ranked 46 p4p, 129 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Prince McVicker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Brendon Carrillo-Moreno!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McVicker lands with a hook. Carrillo-Moreno tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Brendon Carrillo-Moreno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown attempt by Carrillo-Moreno or perhaps it was just good defense by McVicker, which made it look bad.
Carrillo-Moreno throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McVicker's waist but McVicker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Carrillo-Moreno off to one side.
Carrillo-Moreno walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

McVicker has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

No joy there for McVicker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As McVicker backs off Carrillo-Moreno throws a huge counter combo but McVicker manages to avoid it all.

A quick step to the side and McVicker tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

McVicker wants the takedown. Carrillo-Moreno is fighting it off but McVicker persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Carrillo-Moreno's guard against the cage.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Carrillo-Moreno throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! McVicker escapes and throws Carrillo-Moreno's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

McVicker looks up at the clock and then as Carrillo-Moreno takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, McVicker smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
McVicker tries to advance to mount but Carrillo-Moreno denies him.
Carrillo-Moreno felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Carrillo-Moreno is looking for a sweep.
McVicker takes a little break here. Carrillo-Moreno wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

McVicker is looking to take a break and control but Carrillo-Moreno is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Carrillo-Moreno has his foot on McVicker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McVicker works his way back into a safe position though.

Carrillo-Moreno goes for a double leg but McVicker avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as McVicker continues to drive forward.

McVicker takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Carrillo-Moreno rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McVicker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Carrillo-Moreno changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McVicker tries to avoid it but Carrillo-Moreno manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McVicker to the ground. McVicker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

McVicker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Carrillo-Moreno has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
