The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Smolarek throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Smolarek has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

It seemed like Smolarek was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Smolarek rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bolkvadze moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bolkvadze throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Smolarek.

Smolarek's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Bolkvadze cracks Smolarek with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Smolarek falls to his knees and Bolkvadze doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buck Bolkvadze!
After winning the bout, Buck Bolkvadze thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
