Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nyongesa Chidike (ranked 2504 p4p, 2141 weight class) and Mason Barbosa (ranked 250 p4p, 209 weight class). Mason Barbosa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nyongesa Chidike!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mason Barbosa!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chidike rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Barbosa counter with a right hand.
Barbosa avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Oooooh!!! Barbosa has knocked Chidike down with a huge combo! Barbosa steps away and waves a wobbly Chidike back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Chidike is rocked!
Chidike on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Oh Chidike is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters circling - Barbosa throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Barbosa throws a right and a left that Chidike avoids nicely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Barbosa scores with the left hand. Chidike knows he should have avoided that one.
Barbosa misses with a hook.
Chidike shoots in for a double leg but Barbosa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Barbosa drops Chidike with a straight right hand, right on the button! Barbosa follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mason Barbosa!
In his post fight interview, Mason Barbosa started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
