Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luuk Benjamin (ranked 94 p4p, 349 weight class) and Liwa Kursiwa (ranked 11 p4p, 34 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Liwa Kursiwa!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benjamin swats away the attempt to clinch by Kursiwa.
Benjamin pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Benjamin drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
We've been told by Benjamin's head coaches at Bushido Martial Arts that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

A slow jab from Benjamin misses its intended target.
Kursiwa misses with an uppercut.
A little feinted left hand from Benjamin on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Benjamin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kursiwa.
Benjamin fires out a quick counter leg kick but Kursiwa just manages to avoid it.

Kursiwa fails to land with a series of punches.

Benjamin lands a nice hook to Kursiwa's body. Kursiwa takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Benjamin throws a hook to the side of Kursiwa's head but Kursiwa sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kursiwa is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Benjamin's half guard.
Benjamin has one foot on Kursiwa's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Kursiwa darts in looking for a takedown but Benjamin gets double underhooks and turns Kursiwa into the cage.

Benjamin sets himself, and Kursiwa steps forward looking for the clinch! Benjamin avoids it this time.

Benjamin throws a big counter combination but Kursiwa scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Luuk Benjamin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Liwa Kursiwa.

Kursiwa is trying hard to land a takedown here. Benjamin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Benjamin was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Liwa Kursiwa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Benjamin throws a body punch but Kursiwa moves out of range.
Kursiwa wants to counter the offense by Benjamin and move into the clinch position.
Benjamin drops Kursiwa with a big left hand! Kursiwa is injured, injured bad! Benjamin jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

A relieved looking Luuk Benjamin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
