Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vino Kourov (ranked 3562 p4p, 688 weight class) and Don Flamenco (ranked 225 p4p, 54 weight class). Kourov comes into the arena with COME ON blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Flamenco's choice of entrance music: Punch Out Theme. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vino Kourov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Don Flamenco!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kourov tries to clinch up but Flamenco circles away and keeps his distance.
Kourov misses with a hook to the body
and Flamenco counters with a straight right hand.
Kourov misses with the combination.
It seemed like Flamenco was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Kourov smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Kourov throws a right hand that misses
and Flamenco makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A swing and a miss from Kourov.
Kourov clinches up against the cage.
I was talking to Kourov's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Kourov tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Flamenco avoids it.
Flamenco looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Kourov doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Flamenco breaks from the clinch.
Kourov lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Flamenco throws a series of punches but Kourov avoids them all with ease.
Flamenco avoids the body shot from Kourov.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kourov tries to clinch but Flamenco moves away
and Flamenco counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kourov swinging wildly here.

Kourov has Flamenco up against the cage in a clinch.
Kourov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kourov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Flamenco paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Flamenco looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Kourov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kourov tries to clinch but Flamenco is having none of it.

Kourov looks to score with a jab to the body but Flamenco is just out of range.
Flamenco misses with an uppercut.

Flamenco bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kourov's head backwards.

Flamenco rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Kourov to counter with a crisp jab.
Flamenco takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kourov scores with a jab.
Flamenco looks to land a right hand but Kourov moved out of range.
Kourov connects with a nice looking jab.
Flamenco circles away from the clinch attempt.
Flamenco lands a glancing blow to the side of Kourov's head.
Kourov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Flamenco was well out of range. Poor timing from Kourov.
Kourov throws a poor cross that misses
and Flamenco counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kourov is rocked!
The fighters circle momentarily. Kourov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Oh Kourov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kourov looks to clinch
and Flamenco counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kourov doesn't manage to clinch there - Flamenco circles away.
Kourov seems to have got his legs back now.
Kourov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Flamenco.
Kourov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kourov closes the distance and pushes Flamenco back into the cage.
Kourov struggles to land a body shot inside as Flamenco controls his hands.
Flamenco wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

A short uppercut from Kourov.
Still in the clinch, Flamenco scores with a nice short uppercut.
Flamenco lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Kourov lands with a right to the head.
Kourov scores with a hook to the body.
Kourov landing knees to the head.
Flamenco takes a shot to the head.
Kourov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kourov sizes up Flamenco with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Flamenco missing with a left hand there. Kourov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Flamenco fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kourov manages to avoid it.
Flamenco circles away from the clinch attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kourov wants to clinch.
Kourov lands a left and a right that send Flamenco crashing to the mat, dazed. Kourov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Flamenco is rocked!

Kourov tries to clinch up but Flamenco circles away and keeps his distance.
Flamenco is still on wobbly legs! Can Kourov finish him?
Flamenco misses with a hook.
Vino Kourov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kourov looks to score with a jab to the body but Flamenco is just out of range.
Kourov closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Flamenco! Kourov dives in looking to finish! Flamenco is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vino Kourov!
Vino Kourov tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
