Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anton Krylov (ranked 288 p4p, 175 weight class) and Nick Barkley (ranked 37 p4p, 22 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anton Krylov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 30 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Barkley! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barkley misses with a straight right. A nice leg kick lands there from Barkley. Krylov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Barkley. Krylov takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A lazy body kick from Barkley and Krylov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Krylov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Barkley throws a body kick that misses and Barkley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Barkley throws an overhand right that lands on Krylov's shoulder, as Krylov tries to avoid the shot. Barkley lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Krylov moves out of range of the strikes. A leg kick checked by Krylov. Barkley pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Krylov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Barkley! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Krylov tries for a kimura but Barkley is defending well. Krylov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Barkley knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krylov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Barkley is looking to regain half guard here but Krylov keeps moving and retains side control. Krylov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Krylov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Krylov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Barkley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Barkley is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Krylov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Krylov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Krylov tries for a kimura but Barkley is defending well. Krylov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Krylov has let go of the choke. Krylov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Krylov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Barkley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Barkley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krylov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Barkley tries to buck Krylov off but Krylov is having none of it. Anton Krylov dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Krylov fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Barkley throws a lazy uppercut
and Krylov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Krylov works his way into full mount! Krylov is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Barkley has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Krylov goes for an armbar but Barkley turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Barkley. Krylov has control of Barkley's left arm, preventing Barkley from doing any damage. Krylov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barkley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krylov working for submissions but it's allowed Barkley to get to half guard.

Krylov is trying to control the position but Barkley postures up. Krylov keeping moving, preventing Barkley from controlling successfully. Barkley showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Barkley won't allow Krylov to sweep him here. Krylov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Barkley is aware though and is defending well. Barkley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Krylov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barkley has managed to get both his arms back between Krylov's legs - danger averted. Krylov throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Barkley avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Krylov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krylov is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Barkley! Krylov working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Barkley is desperately trying to improve his position but Krylov has a good base and remains in mount. Krylov wants to control the pace but Barkley is squirming around nicely. Krylov goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Barkley turns into him and now he's in Krylov's guard.

Krylov is looking to cinch up a triangle. Barkley throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Krylov's body to avoid the submission. Krylov has instead reached around Barkley's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Krylov arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
