Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Musa Vitalik (ranked 596 p4p, 717 weight class) and Hrvoje Palmotic (ranked 78 p4p, 91 weight class). Vitalik comes into the arena with Planet Purge - Midnight Tyrannosaurus & Ehide blaring out of the sound system. Palmotic has chosen One day I'll be king as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Musa Vitalik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hrvoje Palmotic!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vitalik throws a body punch but Palmotic moves out of range.
Vitalik wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Vitalik looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Vitalik looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Palmotic is fending him off so far but Vitalik persists. Nope, Palmotic circles away and we're back to standing.
Musa Vitalik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vitalik lands a slapping body shot.
Palmotic steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vitalik.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Palmotic keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vitalik dives in for a single leg takedown but Palmotic sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Musa Vitalik. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vitalik has a couple of punches blocked by Palmotic.
Palmotic tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Vitalik's elbow.

Vitalik connects with a body shot that sends Palmotic's belly button to the back.
Vitalik uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A telegraphed right hand from Vitalik misses the target.

Palmotic now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Vitalik tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Palmotic was well out of range. Poor timing from Vitalik.

Vitalik looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Palmotic throws a jab when Vitalik was well out of range.
Vitalik ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Vitalik is looking to wear down Palmotic with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Vitalik shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Palmotic's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vitalik passes into half guard.
Vitalik blocks the strikes from Palmotic.
Palmotic trying to control but Vitalik postures up.
Vitalik working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Vitalik frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Vitalik is landing with some decent strikes but Palmotic is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Vitalik fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Palmotic is rocked!
Vitalik loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Palmotic scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Vitalik land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Vitalik stands and salutes the crowd.
