Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cathal Tiernan (ranked 2053 p4p, 1551 weight class) and Rounin Hashima (ranked 139 p4p, 115 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rounin Hashima was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hashima moves out of range of the strikes.
Hashima slips a jab from Tiernan.
A countering left hand to the body from Hashima misses.
Hashima throws a hook to the side of Tiernan's head but Tiernan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Tiernan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've been told by Tiernan's head coaches at Torcida MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Tiernan throws a looping overhand right but Hashima ducks down to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hashima has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Tiernan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hashima. Hashima circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Tiernan misses with a hook. Hashima ducked under it nicely.
Hashima takes a swing at Tiernan's ribcage but misses.
Hashima gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Tiernan.

Tiernan drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Hashima right on the button. Hashima goes down! Tiernan follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Tiernan gets the win via TKO!
