Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lenny King (ranked 303 p4p, 506 weight class) and Roger Sparr (ranked 37 p4p, 60 weight class). Sparr is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: OH NO!. Lenny King had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lenny King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roger Sparr! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sparr connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Sparr jabs King right on the nose. King blinks but takes it well. King throws an overhand right that lands on Sparr's shoulder, as Sparr tries to avoid the shot. King misses with a hook. Roger Sparr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sparr takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. King jabbing away but nothing is landing. Sparr is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. King seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. King uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sparr. Sparr looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. King missing with a left hand there. Sparr was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Sparr drops down looking to force a counter takedown but King defends it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sparr missing with a left hand there. King was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. King is looking to counter the offense by Sparr and move into the clinch. Sparr getting the better of the striking in that exchange. King misses with a straight right.
That's one minute gone in the round. King throws a hook to the side of Sparr's head but Sparr sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sparr digs a good body shot into King's ribs. King keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sparr darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Lenny King has been cut. Sparr lands a nice shot to the body.

and King counters with a crisp right hand that drops Sparr! King lets Sparr back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Sparr is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A big left from King misses. Sparr is still on wobbly legs! Can King finish him? King avoids a lazy jab quite easily. King slaps away a takedown attempt from Sparr, before circling back to the center of the mat. Sparr seems to have recovered his senses. Sparr shoots in and drives through. King sprawls well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sparr ducks under a wild hook from King. Sparr drops down looking to force a counter takedown but King defends it well. Sparr swings for the body but King moves out of range.
Sparr pushing out the jab but it's not landing. King sends Sparr crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! King is motioning to the referee to let Sparr up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Sparr looks for a takedown but King sprawls well. Lenny King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Sparr. Sparr scores with a jab to the jaw. King gets off balance looking for a body kick and Sparr counters with a stiff right hand. Sparr connects with a looping right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sparr lands an overhand right. King cracks Sparr on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Sparr falls backwards against the cage. King follows up with more strikes that drop Sparr to his knees. King keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Sparr! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lenny King! Lenny King decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
