Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tristan Zigaro!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Kramer!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kramer fails with a takedown attempt.
Zigaro looks to throw a body kick
and Kramer counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Kramer not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Kramer tries to pass to full mount but Zigaro defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kramer wants to work for an arm triangle but Zigaro is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Zigaro's coaches at The Hidden have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Kramer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kramer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kramer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
