Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulius Zurauskas (ranked 2393 p4p, 2687 weight class) and Never Hurry (ranked 259 p4p, 284 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Never Hurry!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zurauskas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hurry looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Hurry drops Zurauskas with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Zurauskas looks back up at him and smiles so Hurry waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Paulius Zurauskas has been cut.
Hurry swats away the attempt to clinch by Zurauskas.
Hurry takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hurry defending well as Zurauskas loads up on a big left hand.
Zurauskas closes the distance and pushes Hurry back into the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Zurauskas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hurry walks away with a smile on his face. Zurauskas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Zurauskas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Zurauskas has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Deathsquad in the buildup to the fight.
Zurauskas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hurry paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hurry throws a body punch but Zurauskas moves out of range.
Zurauskas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hurry moves away.
Hurry throws a counter combo.
Zurauskas tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hurry manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hurry misses with a body shot.
Zurauskas feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Zurauskas cracks Hurry with a good jab.

Zurauskas gets the takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zurauskas goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hurry rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Zurauskas's guard! Nice work there by Hurry!

Hurry stands and throws Zurauskas's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Hurry throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Zurauskas works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Zurauskas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hurry is working away from the top position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Zurauskas is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hurry pulls his head out easily.
Hurry is taking a breather. Zurauskas says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Hurry is working for a kimura but Zurauskas is defending it quite comfortably.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hurry fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Zurauskas looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Zurauskas tries to close the distance and clinch but Hurry swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Zurauskas tests Hurry's chin there with a solid looking shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Zurauskas, as that shot connected.
Zurauskas throws a body shot but no joy.
A little jabbing left from Hurry on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Zurauskas takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Zurauskas takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Paulius Zurauskas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hurry tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Zurauskas throws a head kick that half lands.

and Hurry takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hurry has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Zurauskas throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hurry swings for the body but Zurauskas moves out of range.

and Hurry counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Hurry has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Zurauskas throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hurry cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hurry is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Zurauskas rather than just go for the knockout.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Never Hurry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Our winner, Never Hurry, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
