Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 20 - 1, fighting out of London, Shape Shifter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jimmie Vinge!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinge throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Shifter drops down looking for a counter takedown but Vinge sprawls and moves away.
Vinge swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shifter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Vinge displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shifter.
Shifter looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shifter misses with a takedown attempt - Vinge sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Shifter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vinge.
Shifter tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Vinge manages to circle out of the way.

Nice uppercut lands for Vinge. That snapped Shifter's head back.
Vinge looks to score with a jab to the body but Shifter is just out of range.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Shifter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vinge pinned against the cage. Vinge gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Shifter moves out of range as Vinge strikes.
Shifter attempts a counter takedown but Vinge avoids it well and moves away.
Shifter tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vinge swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Shifter changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Jimmie Vinge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Vinge holds on and takes a little breather.

Vinge fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shifter manages to avoid it.
Shifter feinted with a counter takedown.
Vinge lands a nice leg kick that just misses Shifter's sensitive parts.
Vinge looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Shifter dives in and grabs Vinge's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vinge pushes down on Shifter's head and hops out.
Shifter avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Shifter changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Vinge throws out a powerful jab.
Shifter pivots, looking for a leg kick but Vinge is out of range and Shifter settles back down.
Shifter shoots for a takedown but Vinge saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Shifter walks into a left hand.
Shifter is rocked!
Vinge finds Shifter's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Shifter flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Vinge lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Shifter will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jimmie Vinge!
