The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ocampo drops his hands momentarily and Nomura takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nomura throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ocampo looks to throw the jab but Nomura is out of range.
Nomura gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ocampo.
Ocampo looks to land a left hand but Nomura moved out of range nicely.
Nomura keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nomura lands with a hook. Ocampo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
We've been hearing reports that Nomura has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Nomura takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ocampo is looking to slow Nomura down with leg kicks.
Nomura throws a looping overhand right but Ocampo ducks down to avoid it.
Nice straight punches there by Ocampo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ocampo.
Nomura is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nomura drops his hands momentarily and Ocampo needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Nomura just on the top of the head. Nomura drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Nomura - he's done!
