Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Handerson (ranked 240 p4p, 779 weight class) and Werewolf Night (ranked 33 p4p, 106 weight class). Handerson comes into the arena with America - A Horse With No Name blaring out of the sound system. Night has chosen Mother- Danzig as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Werewolf Night!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Handerson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Night preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Night must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Handerson holds on and takes a little breather.

Handerson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Handerson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Night gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Handerson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

This has been an exciting period of action!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Handerson here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Night takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
