Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, James Butler Hickok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maurice Matthews!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Bruno Hogan and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hickok misses with a head kick.
Hickok misses with a double jab.

Hickok throws out a powerful jab.

Hickok throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Matthews.
Hickok has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mighty MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Matthews throws a shot from downtown. Hickok moves away and avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hickok lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Hickok tries to clinch up but Matthews circles away and keeps his distance.
A left and a right from Hickok both land. Nice combination.

Matthews uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hickok.
Matthews avoids a punch combination nicely.

Hickok throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Matthews counters with a stiff right hand.
Hickok misses with a body punch
and Matthews counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Matthews lands a head shot.
Hickok misses with a wild body shot.
Matthews blocks the body kick.
Matthews doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Matthews throws a monster overhand right that drops Hickok! Matthews follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
