Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Freaky Trevor (ranked 329 p4p, 371 weight class) and Eja Igwe (ranked 41 p4p, 43 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Freaky Trevor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eja Igwe! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trevor pushes Igwe up against the cage in a clinch. Trevor gets control of Igwe's arms and successfully pulls guard. Trevor will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Trevor pulls Igwe in close to prevent any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Trevor has his foot on Igwe's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Igwe works his way back into a safe position though. Igwe looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Igwe postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Trevor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Trevor definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Trevor doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Igwe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Trevor is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trevor wants to sweep here but Igwe controlling him for the moment. Trevor is trying to keep Igwe in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trevor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Igwe is stalling in the full guard. Trevor is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Trevor pushes a forearm under Igwe's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Igwe is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
