Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Otto McBean (ranked 343 p4p, 823 weight class) and Willie Dixon (ranked 21 p4p, 59 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Otto McBean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Willie Dixon!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBean fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dixon is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
McBean misses with a wild combination.
McBean changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McBean misses with a body punch
and Dixon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

McBean moves into the clinch.
McBean swings away with an uppercut that misses.

McBean can't find room to land a body shot as Dixon controls the action.

McBean gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
McBean wants to control from the top but Dixon keeps moving.

McBean postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

McBean sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dixon's guard.

Dixon looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Dixon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McBean pulls his head out easily.

Dixon actively working from the bottom here.
McBean wants to control but Dixon is keeping him busy.
Dixon tries to get to full guard but McBean has control of the leg.
McBean looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

McBean is looking to take a break and control but Dixon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dixon is looking for a sweep. McBean is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

McBean seems to be working for a kimura but Dixon defends the submission attempt.
Dixon won't allow McBean to pass to mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
McBean feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dixons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
McBean misses the shot to the body.
Dixon tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

McBean drives through and clinches with Dixon against the cage.

McBean gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McBean is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dixon is just riding it out for now. McBean eventually gives up the hold.

Dixon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McBean pulls his head out easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Otto McBean dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

McBean looks to throw the jab but Dixon is out of range.

McBean cracks a nice hook into Dixon's ribs.
McBean is looking to wear down Dixon with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dixon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
McBean clobbers Dixon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Dixon takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
McBean works Dixon's body with a nice hook.
Otto McBean is winning the standup battle so far.
McBean throws a nice looking combination but Dixon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
It seemed like Dixon was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Dixon gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows McBean to score an easy takedown into full guard.
McBean is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dixon can do to turn this around?

Dixon has his foot on McBean's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McBean works his way back into a safe position though.
McBean wants to pass the guard but Dixon is keeping the position.

Dixon has an active guard here but McBean has managed to pass into half guard.
Dixon moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Otto McBean overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Dixon looking for submissions from the bottom but instead McBean passes into side control.

Dixon is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on McBean's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for McBean! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Dixon has tapped! This one is allllll over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Otto McBean!
