Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Mesquita (ranked 1705 p4p, 4532 weight class) and Pope Cozad (ranked 171 p4p, 392 weight class). Cozad has chosen Spirit In The Sky- Norman Greenbaum as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Pope Cozad struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. This should be a great matchup!

and Mesquita counters with a single leg into guard. Cozad didn't expect that.

Mesquita has hold of Cozad's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Cozad seems comfortable defending it but Mesquita has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Cozad is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Cozad is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mesquita couldn't care less - he's delighted!
