Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Haw Thorn (ranked 179 p4p, 209 weight class) and Ghost Chai (ranked 26 p4p, 32 weight class). Thorn comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Haw Thorn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Ghost Chai!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Haw Thorn has been cut.
Chai throws a body shot but no joy.
Thorn moves out of range of the body kick from Chai.
Chai lands a big head kick that sends Thorn tumbling to the mat! Chai takes a step backwards and waves Thorn back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chai loads up on a big right hand but Thorn slips the punch.

Chai throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Thorn on the side of the head.
Chai walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Chai throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Thorn.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Thorn might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Thorn with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Chai to score with a decent uppercut.
