With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Niall Ferguson!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson looks to land a left hand but Crusher moved out of range nicely.
Crusher half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Niall Ferguson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ferguson misses with a right hand

and Crusher counters with a shoot takedown. Ferguson fights it but they end up in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Ferguson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Crusher sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Crusher takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Crusher steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ferguson.

and Crusher counters with a single leg into guard. Ferguson didn't expect that.
Crusher cracks Ferguson with a solid left hand.

Ferguson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Ferguson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crusher gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ferguson controls Crusher momentarily but Crusher frees himself.
Jack Crusher overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Ferguson has his foot on Crusher 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Crusher works his way back into a safe position though.
Crusher trying to control the position from guard on top but Ferguson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Crusher is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ferguson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Ferguson lands a big head kick that sends Crusher tumbling to the mat! Ferguson takes a step backwards and waves Crusher back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Crusher tries to counter with a takedown but Ferguson is quick to defend against it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ferguson circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Crusher to the canvas! Crusher doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Ferguson keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
