Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ameen Robertson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Neesum Mo!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson throws a series of punches but Mo moves out of range.
Nice body punch from Robertson.
Robertson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mo back to the cage. Robertson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Robertson throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Robertson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Robertson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Robertson thuds his right hand into Mo's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Robertson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mo sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Robertson scores with a hook to the body. Mo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Robertson looks to land a left hand but Mo moved out of range nicely.
Mo throws out a counter right but Robertson avoids it with no problem.

Mo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

We've been told by Robertson's head coaches at Ludus Magnus that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Robertson throws a lazy right hand but Mo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mo drops Robertson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Robertson looks back up at him and smiles so Mo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Robertson is rocked!
Robertson goes for a double leg but Mo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mo continues to drive forward.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Robertson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mo.
Robertson backing away here, and Mo unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

Oh Robertson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ameen Robertson is winning the standup battle so far.

Robertson shoots in and bounces Mo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Robertson is fighting to break Mo's control of his arms but Mo is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
