Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Bollomard (ranked 152 p4p, 1740 weight class) and Phil Rivers (ranked 19 p4p, 171 weight class). Bollomard comes to the cage accompanied by Mysterium. Rivers comes into a darkened arena with his song building. RUNNING IN THE 90’s kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers's corner calls for a 1-2. Rivers obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Rivers throws a body shot but no joy.
Bollomard pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Bollomard attempts a counter takedown but Rivers avoids it well and moves away.

Rivers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bollomard fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bollomard is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rivers.
Bollomard feints and as Rivers raises his hands in defense, Bollomard changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Rivers escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bollomard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Rivers had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bollomard defends it easily.

Rivers tries to roll over but Bollomard keeps him under control.

Bollomard is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rivers has escaped the position, nice work there.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rivers throws out a loose jab but Bollomard uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Bollomard counters with a HUGE slam that knocks Rivers out cold!!! When he eventually wakes up, that one's gunna hurt!

After winning the bout, Jacques Bollomard thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
