Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julius Howell (ranked 1018 p4p, 1875 weight class) and Akubundu Yobachukwu (ranked 127 p4p, 219 weight class). Howell comes to the cage accompanied by HonestKey- The Unseen. Yobachukwu has chosen Hate Me Now as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akubundu Yobachukwu!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Yobachukwu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Yobachukwu has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Yobachukwu lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Howell backs up against the cage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Howell is in close to Yobachukwu's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Yobachukwu is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Howell is controlling him.
Yobachukwu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Howell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Yobachukwu lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Yobachukwu is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Howell had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
