The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fries works OcasioCortez's body with a nice hook.
OcasioCortez tries to clinch up.
Fries throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent OcasioCortez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fries throws a series of strikes that have OcasioCortez backpedaling.
OcasioCortez moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Fries swings for the body but OcasioCortez moves out of range.
Fries cracks OcasioCortez with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! OcasioCortez looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Fries finish him?
OcasioCortez is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
OcasioCortez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fries swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A telegraphed right hand from Fries misses the target.
OcasioCortez looks for the body kick but Fries saw that one coming.
A big left from Fries misses.
Fries throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
OcasioCortez fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Fries misses with a hook. OcasioCortez ducked under it nicely.
OcasioCortez moves away from the strike by Fries .
It appears OcasioCortez was looking to counter with a kick there.
A punch combination from Fries misses.
OcasioCortez is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
OcasioCortez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fries to score with a decent uppercut.
OcasioCortez slips under a jab from Fries .

Fries throws out a loose jab but OcasioCortez uses good head movement to avoid it.
OcasioCortez tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Fries manages to circle out of the way.
Fries 's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Fries duly obliges.
Fries lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fries lands a glancing blow to the side of OcasioCortez's head.
Fries tries to bum rush OcasioCortez with a series of wild strikes but OcasioCortez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
OcasioCortez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Fries lands a left and a right that send OcasioCortez crashing to the mat, dazed. Fries thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh OcasioCortez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fries throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fries circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops OcasioCortez to the canvas! OcasioCortez doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Fries keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Victor Fries !
A relieved looking Victor Fries thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
