Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 41 - 47 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thom Tharrier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcel Thibodeaux!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibodeaux lands a body shot.
Tharrier takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Tharrier is breathing heavily.
Thibodeaux dips to his left and cracks Tharrier with an uppercut!
It looks like Thom Tharrier has been cut.
Thibodeaux tries a head kick but it misses.
Thibodeaux sends Tharrier crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Thibodeaux is motioning to the referee to let Tharrier up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Tharrier is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tharrier is aggressively charging in as Thibodeaux backs up avoiding any damage. Thibodeaux tosses out a jab and Tharrier runs right into it face first! Tharrier is out cold! Thibodeaux dropped down on all fours and is barking in Tharrier's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Marcel Thibodeaux!
After winning the bout, Marcel Thibodeaux thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
