Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Bonaparte (ranked 1574 p4p, 1405 weight class) and Loki Kvakkestad (ranked 217 p4p, 193 weight class). Bonaparte comes to the cage accompanied by Daft Punk - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. Kvakkestad has chosen TÆL - Sprengstoff as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Loki Kvakkestad!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonaparte slips under a jab from Kvakkestad.
Kvakkestad drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Kvakkestad moves forwards but Bonaparte connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Bonaparte moves out of range of the strikes.
Bonaparte thuds a left hand into Kvakkestad's body.
Kvakkestad throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bonaparte throws a leg kick that misses.
Kvakkestad connects with a single shot there.
A big right from Kvakkestad misses.
Loki Kvakkestad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bonaparte fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kvakkestad manages to avoid it.
Kvakkestad moves out of range of the body kick from Bonaparte.

Bonaparte is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Bonaparte scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kvakkestad has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Kvakkestad moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

and Bonaparte cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Bonaparte counters with a good low kick that Kvakkestad was not able to check.
Kvakkestad throws the kick towards the body but Bonaparte avoids it.

Bonaparte's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kvakkestad under the eye.
Bonaparte looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Kvakkestad ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bonaparte moves away.

and Bonaparte counters with a stiff right hand.

Kvakkestad throws a hook but Bonaparte avoids it easily.
Bonaparte misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kvakkestad lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bonaparte has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bonaparte and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Bonaparte - that will leave a mark!
Kvakkestad takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kvakkestad throws out a leg kick but Bonaparte moves out of range and Kvakkestad only half commits.
Bonaparte connects with a body shot that sends Kvakkestad's belly button to the back.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kvakkestad ducks right into an uppercut from Bonaparte.
It looks like Loki Kvakkestad has been cut.
Bonaparte dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bonaparte cracks Kvakkestad with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Bonaparte tries a head kick but it misses.
Kvakkestad darts in trying to clinch
and Bonaparte counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bonaparte cracks Kvakkestad with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bonaparte has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kvakkestad to stand back up!

Bonaparte steps in with a hook that catches Kvakkestad right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Bonaparte follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Kvakkestad looks absolutely devastated.
