Kersikov comes to the cage accompanied by 2 Best Enemies - Phases . The crowd seem to be enjoying King's choice of entrance music: YoungBoy Never Broke Again – White Teeth. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 24 - 1, fighting out of New York, Malcolm King!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for King.
King fails to land with a series of punches.

and Kersikov decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in King's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kersikov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Kersikov is nestled in close to King, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Kersikov is taking a breather. King says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kersikov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
