Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between KT Panda (ranked 1267 p4p, 2070 weight class) and Vlastimil Vyr (ranked 91 p4p, 136 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 27 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, KT Panda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vlastimil Vyr! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vyr with a jab.
It looks like KT Panda has been cut. A nice leg kick lands there from Panda. Panda connects with a body shot that sends Vyr's belly button to the back. Vyr misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Panda cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Panda fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vyr has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Vyr lands a glancing blow to the side of Panda's head. Panda throws a chopping leg kick but Vyr manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Vyr throws out a counter right but Panda avoids it with no problem. Vyr is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Panda. Panda with a body punch. A glancing blow. Vyr misses with a looping left. Panda is looking to counter punch. Vyr swings for the body but Panda moves out of range.
Vyr on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Vlastimil Vyr has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vyr throws a body punch but Panda moves out of range. It looked like Panda was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Vyr. We've been told by Panda's head coaches at Crapollas Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Panda moves into the clinch. Vyr tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Panda avoids it. Panda tries to work over Vyr's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Vyr is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Panda misses with a punch on the inside.
Vyr can't find room to land a body shot as Panda controls the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Panda works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Vyr looks winded! Panda pushes Vyr back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Panda scores with an uppercut up the middle. Panda softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Panda goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Panda lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Vyr to his knees! Panda keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). KT Panda!
