Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adan Puno (ranked 176 p4p, 99 weight class) and Abelardo De Leon (ranked 24 p4p, 14 weight class). De Leon has chosen Mercenary - F.O.O.L. & Power Glove as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adan Puno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Abelardo De Leon!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puno gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Adan Puno has been cut.
Puno throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Puno looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Puno staying out of range there.
A big right from De Leon misses.
Puno throws a quick inside leg kick.
Puno lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Abelardo De Leon has been cut.
De Leon with a nice cross.
Puno lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Puno moves out of range as De Leon strikes.
De Leon throws a body punch but Puno moves out of range.
De Leon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
De Leon misses with a right hand
and Puno counters with a nice right hand that sends De Leon toppling to the canvas! De Leon scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Puno finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
De Leon looks to throw the jab but Puno is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from De Leon.
De Leon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Puno throws out the jab.
De Leon looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
De Leon misses with a lunging right hand
and Puno counters with a crisp right hand that drops De Leon! Puno lets De Leon back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
De Leon lands an overhand right.
Abelardo De Leon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Puno uses good head movement to avoid the hook from De Leon.
Puno appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
De Leon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Puno was well out of range. Poor timing from De Leon.
Puno fires out a quick counter leg kick but De Leon just manages to avoid it.
De Leon lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Adan Puno's cut is getting worse.
Puno fakes high and swings low for a body shot but De Leon manages to avoid it.
De Leon throws an off balance right hand
and Puno counters with a good low kick that De Leon was not able to check.
Puno throws a low kick but it's checked well by De Leon.
A telegraphed right hand from De Leon misses the target.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Puno tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Puno throws a hook to the side of De Leon's head but De Leon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
De Leon appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
De Leon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Puno bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
It looked like Puno wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
De Leon sizes up Puno with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
De Leon lands a jab to the nose.
Adan Puno's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
De Leon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Puno.
Puno throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
De Leon cracks Puno with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. De Leon has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Puno to stand back up!
Puno is rocked!
Puno walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from De Leon! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Abelardo De Leon!
A relieved looking Abelardo De Leon thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
