The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shima throws a hook but Soares blocks it.
Soares slips under a jab.
Shima pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Soares back to the cage. Shima follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Shima moves to clinch but Soares breaks away
and Soares counters with a nice uppercut.
Shima on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Shima's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Soares connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Shima scrambles back to his feet.
Soares lands with a right hand.
Shima is rocked!
Soares fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shima is still on wobbly legs! Can Soares finish him?
Soares lands with a right that hurts Shima. Shima looks to clinch but Soares throws a short knee that drops Shima. This one is all over!
