Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kaarlo Susi (ranked 475 p4p, 629 weight class) and Nick Durling (ranked 59 p4p, 79 weight class). Durling comes into a darkened arena with his song building. BABYMETAL - KARATE kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Durling!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Susi throws a hook to the side of Durling's head but Durling sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Durling is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Durling gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Durling gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Durling apologises and we restart here on the feet.
